Hi Runners, Welcome to my new blog!!!
This has been an aspiration of mine for a while now, along with dedicating more time to posting track and XC trainings on my instagram. I decided to start this blog as a way to communicate with other athletes, track my progress and share what I have learned over the past two years from competing at regional and national competitions.
After finishing 11th at Spanish nationals, I was very disappointed, but it showed me the crucial importance of the mental side of running. I spent the beginning of quarantine reading articles, listening to podcasts, and watching videos, yet I still did not know how to improve my mental health.
Then, a runner’s worst nightmare occurred: I developed an injury, preventing me from running for over six weeks. It was my first long-term injury, and I felt frustrated and upset, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
This blog is not solely for runners, I believe that anybody can learn something new, whether you are a relative of a runner or simply a reader.
This is what to be expected from my blog:
-The importance of a positive mindset and how to achieve this.
-How to fit strength training into your timetable.
-My race experiences and how to find the joy in competing.
-How to find the perfect training timetable for you.
The list goes on and on. Currently, I am posting the topics that I enjoy writing the most, but I am definitely open to any recommendations!
I understand that I am not a professional, but I do have my own journey and my blogs and posts could inspire somebody out there, regardless of whether they are a runner or not. Exercise and a positive mindset do not solely apply for running, they are crucial for everyone!
